Thank you for your interest in our professional development program. Designed specifically for DI techs across Ontario. Our series offers an easy, collaborative way to earn your annual continuing education credits for your CMRITO ePortfolio.
Program Overview & Format
* Schedule: Bi-weekly sessions typically held on Sunday evenings (with alternative slots scheduled based on participant demand).
* Session Length: Ranging from 30 minutes (0.5 credits) to 3 hours, depending on the depth of the material.
* Modalities Covered: Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT, MRI, Echocardiography, and any professional topics helpful to DI technologists.
* Platform: Hosted via secure online webinar software (link provided upon registration).
Pricing & Subscriptions
We keep professional development exceptionally accessible, and every dollar collected goes directly toward funding Amicus Health's non-profit mission to support healthcare accessibility and education. For more information about this mission you can check www.amicushealth.ca.
- Presenters: Attend and present completely free of charge.
- Drop-In Attendees: $3.00 per hour ($1.50 per 30 minutes). If you must fully miss a live session you paid for, your registration fee rolls over to a future session.
- Annual Season Pass for 2027: $50 for unlimited access to all sessions for a full year. (Note: Annual subscribers also receive exclusive discounts on any future in-person seminars or workshops hosted by Amicus Health).
Earning Your CPD Credits
* For Attendees: To receive your verified certificate, participants must attend the full live session and successfully pass a brief end-of-session quiz (answering the majority of questions correctly).
* For Presenters: Sharing your knowledge counts toward your professional development goals. Presenters earn credits for both delivery time and preparation.
* Certificate Delivery: Certificates are distributed efficiently to qualified participants.
Get Involved as a Presenter
Have something valuable to share? We welcome peer-led sessions. A presenter is defined as anyone sharing material with a minimum duration of 15 minutes. Each session may have more than one presenter. You can present if you:
- Have an interesting clinical case to share.
- Read a book or article you'd like to discuss with peers.
- Know a new technique or protocol advancement.
- Are excited about new technology, equipment, or industry news.
- Have insights, tips, or tricks that can help fellow DI techs.
- Or a combination of above
